We have talked about containers being used on farms before. Today, we’re going to highlight one container barn extension. This 40’ container was attached to a pole barn to provide storage for steel. The owners sealed the container up to the pole barn and installed a door for easy access from inside the barn. They wired the container for lighting and installed racking for the steel they store in the container. The container doors are intact so steel can be loaded and unloaded from inside the pole barn or from outside.
If you have a container on your farm, how do you use it? If you don't, what would you like one to do for you? Would a container barn be helpful?
